Fans of the first book will be happy to hear Sean the good-natured alcoholic satyr hasn't gone very far, nor has Cynthia the matronly leader of the Illinois coven. And there are plenty of intriguing new characters including a werewolf on the lam from his former pack and a stoic Romanian vampiress harboring a terrible secret.
